Privacy Policy
Fourth & Long is testing an AI-assisted fantasy football newspaper. We collect the minimum information needed to run the Founding Beta, and we do not sell or rent personal information.
Interest list
When you join the Founding Beta interest list, we store your email, when and where the form was submitted, and advertising attribution sent with the visit, such as UTM campaign values or a platform click ID. We use this information to manage invitations, contact you about the beta, prevent abuse, and understand which campaign led to the request. A pseudonymous network rate-limit key may also be stored to prevent one client from overwhelming the form; the raw network address is not kept in the waitlist table. Email-only requests are recorded as unverified; a verified Google/Clerk identity is marked separately. We do not treat an unverified request as permission for unrelated marketing.
Accounts and Google
If you choose an account or Google sign-in option, our authentication provider handles that sign-in and gives us basic identity information, including a verified email. Fourth & Long does not request access to your Gmail messages, contacts, or files. Signing in does not by itself create a paper or grant a beta invitation.
Invited commissioners
If invited, we store your paper settings and the Sleeper league ID you provide. Sleeper league IDs let us read league data available through Sleeper’s API, including names, rosters, records, matchups, and transactions. We never ask for your Sleeper password.
Public papers
Published paper pages are public to anyone with their web address and may include fantasy team names, standings, rosters, transactions, and AI-assisted editorial copy. Waitlist emails, account details, and commissioner settings are not public.
Service providers
We use service providers for authentication, hosting, database storage, AI writing or artwork, and the Sleeper data connection. Each receives only the information needed for its part of the service. Paid checkout and newspaper email delivery are not currently open in the Founding Beta.
